Studio Mandala is the newly named Yoga Company of San Ramon and the sister studio to The Yoga Company Castro Valley. Located conveniently in San Ramon, Studio Mandala is an inviting and warm space open too all yoga practitioners, no matter where they are on their journey.

Whether you are a beginner or a long time practitioner of yoga we welcome you to our studio, where we offer a broad range of class levels and styles to accommodate all who walk through our doors. All classes are taught and supported by fabulous, caring Yoga Alliance 200 hour certified teachers.

Yoga

Practice

According to Natalie Nevins, DO, a board-certified osteopathic family physician, “Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration. Body- and self-awareness are particularly beneficial, because they can help with early detection of physical problems and allow for early preventive action.” Yoga’s incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person’s mental well-being.

Many people find the practice very challenging when they first begin. They key to meeting the challenge and evolving your practice are patience, perseverance, and consistency of practice. If you have never taken a yoga class and have not been very active physically, you will want to plan on starting with any of the beginner/Level 1 classes. More active people new to the practice might want to begin with the above or Level 1-2 classes. If you have been practicing for some time and are familiar with yoga asanas (postures) then try any of the classes offered, noting that some of them are conducted in heated rooms.

We are happy to offer a one-time 2 week unlimited class package for $25.00 or a one-time monthly unlimited for $75 to new students. We encourage you to try all of our yoga classes and instructors as every teacher has their own unique background, sequencing, teaching style and voice.
